On January 18-20, 2024, the first ” in person” meeting of the project “Solidarity in Action! Education, Activism, Cooperation!”. Nearly 20 people working in NGOs operating in the field of human rights and support of minority groups, met in Upper Silesia to discuss, explore, and share experiences and good practices, and to give each other the support so necessary in socially engaged work.
The program of this meeting was vibrant and varied to give those attending the opportunity to deepen their knowledge, gain new competencies, make new friends and be inspired by the actions of others.
We could not leave out the local context, so we visited Nikiszowiec, where we discussed with members of the Factory of Local Initiatives Association about social change during the transformation and how to act for the common good in solidarity with the local community.
