Article

Anne Sofie Lindberg Knudsen is pursuing a Bsc of Science in Political Science at the University of Copenhagen while working at the Copenhagen-based research center Center for Applied Ecological Thinking and as a teaching assistant in International Relations. With a special interest in ecological and transformative thinking, she has dealt with climate change, conflict resolution, human rights issues, and civic engagement. As a part of the organization The People’s Climate March in Copenhagen and as a board member of the Climate Movement in Denmark, Anne Sofie has gained an in-depth experience with organizing collective action and turning theoretical insights into practice. She is also curious as to how science fiction and storytelling can be a way of configuring and reconfiguring worlds inspired by the author Ursula K. Le Guin. As a Folk High School teacher, she has facilitated workshops on civic climate engagement, science fiction and political theory.
