Ansley Langham is a Robert W. Woodruff Scholar at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia where she’s pursuing a joint major in Mathematics and Political Science and a major in Italian Studies. At Emory, she serves as an Ambassador for Emory Libraries, writes for the Emory Political Review, and has conducted elections research in partnership with the Electoral Integrity Project and the Carter Center. Her background in legislative advocacy, notably serving as the coalition lead for the 2021 California Menstrual Equity for All Act, developed her interest in policy research and led her to intern with the Women’s Congressional Policy Institute in Washington, D.C. Also passionate about Italian domestic and international affairs, she interned at the Centro Studi di Politica Internazionale (CeSPI) in Rome during her semester abroad. She hopes to become a legislative attorney and enjoys hiking, street tacos, and the NYT crossword.
