Beth is an artist, organizer, and recent graduate from the University of Chicago where she majored in Sociology and minored in Inequality, Social Problems, and Change. Passionate about building community through storytelling and the arts, Beth produced student film festivals, open mics, virtual exhibitions, and was honored with the 2020 Jane Morton and Henry C. Murphy Award for her leadership and community contribution. Beth is also an Associate Producer with AirGo, a weekly podcast and cultural media hub in Chicago that reshapes the culture of the city and beyond for the more equitable and creative. Passionate about education, Beth has taught students of all ages through Chicago Public Schools, AmeriCorps, and the Phillips Brooks House Association. Beth loved her time as a 2020 John Lewis Senior Fellow and looks forward to a lifetime of engagement with the Humanity In Action community.
