Bethany Copsey is a British-New Zealand soil student and peatland advocate. She co-founded the collective RE-PEAT in 2020 and has since been working with the other members of the team to bring together peatlands, narrative change, community engagement, and creative interventions. She is currently a member of the Board of Youth of the Resilience Project which sits at the intersection of youth, mental health, and the climate crisis. Bethany is passionate about community organising, building movements that draw connections between connected crises, and finding novel ways to bring people into conversation about peatlands, soil and the climate crisis.
