Catherine Campbell is a rising senior at the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Health and Societies. Her major concentration is in the history of medicine, with a minor in Urban Studies. After finishing her B.A., she hopes to pursue seminary studies, eventually working as a chaplain in the context of long-term care or hospice. She is involved with social action and pastoral care, both in the Philadelphia-area young adult Friends community, and in her local Quaker congregation, both of which are places of grounding and growth. On campus, she strives to build nurturing communities in her work as a Resident Advisor for first-year students, and as the Advocacy Chair for the university’s interfaith umbrella organization. The rest of the time, she can be found in a ballet studio, either dancing and creating choreography, or directing new productions for Penn Ballet.
