Daniela Werbeniec is a senior project manager with combined experience in educational and journalistic projects. Currently, Daniela is working for Gazeta Wyborcza – the largest liberal daily newspaper in Poland, as well as for the Gazeta Wyborcza Foundation and Wysokie Obcasy Foundation. Her intention is to promote social initiatives and citizen projects along with all activities aimed at broadening the freedom of the media, upgrading the quality of journalism, developing education and critical thinking. She co-created and manages the School of Editors at Gazeta Wyborcza, a program dedicated to a new generation of journalists, who will show the way forward in the Polish media landscape. Daniela is also a trustee of the ‘initiative is she’. foundation – a charity providing culturally sensitive support for disadvantaged groups of Central-Eastern European Minority women in Scotland.
