Dennis is a Senior Fellow of the Berlin Fellowship of 2019 and a graduate student of Public Administration and Human Rights at Central European University in Vienna. He was born and raised in a Turkish-German working class household in Hanover. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Zeppelin University and spent one semester at Boğaziçi Universitesi in Istanbul. Dennis has worked for the German Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency and for European Alternatives. His interests and expertise lie at the intersection of fundamental rights and economic rights in Europe. He is currently writing his Master’s thesis as a Student Consultant for the European Labour Authority, researching the human rights challenges and needs of mobile workers in the EU and the Western Balkans. He has been serving as a member of the board of Humanity in Action Germany since 2021.
