Emma Holten is a feminist activist and gender policy consultant. In 2014, she created the project CONSENT about her own experience with digital sexual violence. She has also delivered keynotes at the Conference on the Status of Women at the UN, New York, TEDxVienna (2015), Moving Forward with #Metoo, Reykjavik, among many others. She has also developed diversity and justice strategies for companies such as Manyone, Universal Music and Warner Music, as well as consulted on feminist economics for Space10 and Re:Arc Foundation among others. She sits on DJØF’s Gender Equality Committee, is a founding board member at Digitalt Ansvar, and a board member at the Georg Brandes Society and ExitCirklen. She is on the European Institute of Gender Equality Experts Forum as an expert in feminist economics.
