Greg Laufer is a partner in the litigation department in the New York offices of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, where he focuses on general commercial litigation matters and also maintains a significant pro bono docket. Before joining Paul, Weiss, Mr. Laufer served as law clerk in the chambers of Judge D. Michael Fisher of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and former Chief Judge Curtis V. Gómez of the U.S. District Court for the Virgin Islands. Mr. Laufer holds a B.A. in comparative literature from Georgetown University, a J.D. from Cornell University Law School and a Master’s in International Business Law from l’Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris and Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. While in law school, Greg was an editor of the Cornell Law Review. He also interned in the chambers of Justice Asher D. Grunis of the Supreme Court of Israel in Jerusalem and for a prosecution team at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda in Arusha, Tanzania. Before attending law school, Mr. Laufer worked as a mergers and acquisitions and restructuring analyst in the New York offices of Rothschild, Inc.
