Irene Crestanello

Irene worked as a Project Assistant for Humanity in Action from June to December 2022. She was born in Verona, Italy, and obtained a BA in International Affairs with a minor in Philosophy at John Cabot University, Rome. She is now pursuing a MA in International Conflict and Security with a Specialization in Foreign Policy at University of Kent’s Brussels School of International Studies. During her BA, Irene was research assistant for Professor Isabella Clough Marinaro. In this capacity, she helped researching and editing for the publication of the book “Inhabiting Liminal Spaces: Informalities in Governance, Housing and Economic Activity in Contemporary Italy”.
