Julia Izabela Perendyk is a Polish LLM student at the University of Warsaw. With an active interest in migration and refugee law, Julia founded the first immigration law student association at her university. As a member of the University of Warsaw Refugee Rights Legal Clinic, she gives pro-bono legal aid and co-organises the Refugee Law School, a series of lectures and workshops for young adepts of migration studies under the patronage of UNHCR. She was also a co-founder of a series of meetings at the university entitled “Migration Lawyer – the Legal and Social Perspective of the Migration Crisis in the European Union” under the auspices of the European Parliament, the Migration Consortium and the HFHR. Apart from that, Julia is actively interested in environmental law and climate litigation. Next semester, she will be studying abroad at Panthéon-Assas University Paris II.
