Karolina Biedroń is a Polish actress, artist, and anti-discrimination educator. She graduated the Academy of Theatre Arts in Wrocław in acting and puppetry. She performed at many alternative theatre festivals in Poland, such as „Wioska teatralna” in Węgajty or „Łaknienia” in Goleniów. She has also won numerous awards at these alternative theatre festivals. Karolina is a co-funder and vice-president of the You Simply Can foundation, which brings cultural and anti-discrimination education to diverse groups of participants. She organizes many projects that concern socially involved art and workshops. She also leads workshops that combine theatre, art, and singing with activism, empowerment, and fighting discrimination. Currently she is working towards eradicating violence and discrimination and implementing equality standards into cultural institutions in Poland.
