Manon Descamps

Article

Manon Descamps is a French human rights advocate with dual Master’s degrees in International Relations from Sciences Po and in Human Rights and Humanitarian Law from Paris-Panthéon-Assas. She has built her professional path within international organisations and NGOs, with a strong focus on women’s rights and the fight against gender-based and sexual violence. This includes two years coordinating a regional project for an NGO combating female genital mutilation, working across policy, advocacy, and community engagement.

Deeply committed to justice, she refuses inaction in the face of systemic oppression and works to promote structural change through rights-based approaches. Her work is driven by both conviction and curiosity — always seeking to learn, question, and broaden her impact.

Whether in legal research, grassroots mobilisation or international advocacy, she brings an intersectional lens, strong analytical skills, and a passion for human dignity to every project she takes on.
