Mayukh Datta is a junior at Mississippi State University studying Chemical Engineering with a minor in Environmental Economics. At Mississippi State, Mayukh is the founder of the Climate Reality Project Chapter, an organization that advocates for climate equity in Mississippi. He is also the founder and Director of Feeding the Future Mississippi, a nonprofit that combats food insecurity in the Mississippi Delta. He hopes to attend graduate school for environmental economics so that he can return to Mississippi to focus on environmental justice advocacy.
