Naomi Veldwijk (32) is a personal, motivating, sometimes shocking and always honest writing performer. She likes to talk about subjects that people don’t like to talk about. Her boldness has already brought her to stages as IFFR Black Rebels, 3FM, FunX and many poetry stages in her home country and outside. Naomi likes challenges like writing personal short poems within 5 minutes for festival visitors, writing a live wrap up of a business event in Spoken word or by writing a poem for the employer of the year (for example). The poems Naomi writes invite you to think deeper and start a dialogue, because Naomi believes “To heal the world, we first have to heal ourselves” (Michael Jackson). At the moment she’s busy writing a book for teenagers (and older) about queer role models and she’s focusing more on becoming a voice actress/voice over artist.
