Paulina Sobczak is a documentary filmmaker, graphic designer, and photographer. She was born in Poland, where she received her bachelor’s degree in graphic design and multimedia. After moving to the United States, she graduated with a master’s in journalism with a specialization in documentary film at the University of Arkansas and worked as a Television Producer for Arkansas PBS. Her key interests focus on social and environmental issues. Paulina is contributing her video and graphic design skills to non-profit organizations focusing on diversity, equity and inclusion, human rights and international students. She also served as a Director of Media and Communications for Nashville Women in Film and Television. Through nonfiction storytelling, Paulina combines her passion for art and advocacy. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering, traveling, and reading scientific-based articles and books.
