Pearl Zare is a performance artist presently located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her current focus is on using various creative media and narrative games specifically to explore themes of grief and trauma. Antisemitism is one of the topics on which she has been independently focusing as the granddaughter of Holocaust survivors, including her maternal grandfather, who escaped Auschwitz to become the cantor at what was then the only Jewish temple in Las Vegas. His love of music inspired Pearl, and she considers her career as a performer and her work fighting Antisemitism to be a part of carrying on his legacy.
