Article

Tayler Bakotic is a Bolivian-American student, musician, and writer who is currently finishing up her senior year at New York University. She is double majoring in English and Philosophy with minors in Creative Writing and Religion. Her writing and music primarily explore themes of identity, gender relations, and body horror. As a survivor of domestic and gender-based violence, she has made it her life’s mission to empower others impacted by the same. She is currently researching how horror films conceive of ‘feminine rage’, the oxymoronic pairing of words that she aims to deconstruct and then redefine altogether.
