Terese Bersėnaitė Freltoft is a Danish-Lithuanian student born and raised in Denmark, where she grew up in a multicultural environment. She has travelled to more than 30 countries and visited some of the world’s most remote locations. Currently, she is studying for her BA in Geography and Geoinformatics at the University of Copenhagen. During her travels and studies, Terese became especially interested in environmental and human rights activism. She plans to concentrate her future studies in these areas, focusing on project management and economics. Her hope is to work in a global NGO and create stronger bonds between the Global North and South. Terese is a member of the main board at the University of Copenhagen Student Sports, which encourages students to have an active lifestyle disregarding language, skin color, or religion. She spends her free time on volleyball, tennis, and winter swimming.
