Tukuma Egede is a proud Inuk with a passion for international relations, indigenous issues, and equity. Throughout her childhood, she has lived in Denmark, Canada, Argentina, and her native country Greenland. Later in life, she lived in Australia and Norway and travelled to Vietnam, Hungary, Myanmar, and Iceland among others. These experiences have provided a deep understanding of differences across borders from a very young age. These experiences have fuelled a fascination, as well as a curiosity, for how the clash of culture and politics shape differences in nations and how this affects the development and identity of nations as well as how this affects how minority groups are treated within the country. She has a BA in Political Science from the University of Southern Denmark.
