Our responsibility is to uphold Humanity in Action’s nonpartisan nature, editorial independence, intellectual honesty and the integrity of our mission and remain accountable to the values of human rights, democracy, and pluralism. Our decisions will continue to be guided by our mission and values, not by external pressures. Humanity in Action will not allow limitations or conditions to be placed by donors that compromise the independence of Humanity in Action’s projects, programs, fellows selection process, speaker selection, or hiring practices.
