Solvej Berlau teaches History and Social Science at Slagelse Gymnasium. Prior to teaching Solvej worked for 10 years at the Danish Institute for International Studies specialising in Holocaust and Genocide Studies with an aim to bridge the gap between students and new research. Besides teaching Solvej undertakes lectures and is the author of a variety of educational materials, documentaries and more. Most lately Solvej is the co-author of the book “The Road to Genocide” (2023). Solvej was a Humanity in Action Fellow in 2004 and has served on the Humanity in Action Denmark Board of Directors from 2018-2024.
