Humanity in Action Poland at the III Congress on Civil Rights

Article

As many as 2,000 people attended the III Congress on Civil Rights organized by the Commissioner for Human Rights and OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR)on December 13-14, 2019!

We were present at this event as part of the human rights village. We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand – including The Polish Ombudsman Mr. Adam Bodnar, PhD. Our interactive publications and stickers gathered a lot of interest!

On the second day of the Congress we attended the mini-festival of books on human rights, which was an accompanying event co-organized by the Association of Professor Zbigniew Hołda and the Radio Television Cafe and Bookstore (Kawiarnio-Księgarnia Radio Telewizja). Monika Mazur-Rafał, the president of HIA Polska, was a commentator during the debate about the book “Contempt. Why is the number of hate crimes in Poland growing?”, in which its author, Piotr Niemczyk and the host, Piotr Żytnicki from Gazeta Wyborcza, took part.
