Humanity in Action was founded on the belief that individuals have the power to take actions to strengthen democracy, human rights, and social justice. Our power to enact change is in our network and those who we bring into our fellowship community.

We have launched the Fellows for Fellows Fund to remove financial barriers for promising changemakers to benefit from the Humanity in Action fellowship and community.


What Does Fellows for Fellows Support?

The fund has two main goals:

  • Provide need-based financial aid for our incoming fellows on an equitable basis, covering mandatory costs like flights and and living expenses.
  • Support and strengthen the Senior Fellow community to facilitate the continuation of your important work beyond the fellowship.

How Will Donors To Fellows For Fellows Be Recognized?

  • Donors who give in 2024 will be recognized as a “Founding Donor” for the Fellows for Fellows Fund.
  • All donors to the fund will be recognized on the Humanity in Action website, regardless of level.
  • If you choose to make your gift recurring monthly, we will mark your special contribution with an * and a note about ongoing support.

For almost three decades, we have engaged more than 3,000 fellows in our flagship Fellowship programs across Europe and the United States, and placed more than 300 of our Senior Fellows in professional programs in the United States Congress, the European Parliament, prominent non-profit organizations like the NAACP and the ACLU, and global foundations, among others. 

It is crucial to ensure our community not only grows stronger, but more equitable.

As we look forward, we are committed to removing financial barriers for promising changemakers  to join our fellowship programs. 

Our fellowship works to create a more just and equitable community. We need your help to ensure that finances will not be a barrier for promising minds to the Humanity in Action fellowship.
