In light of the current situation at the Polish-Belarusian border, where a group of asylum seekers from Afghanistan and Iraq have been trapped by the border guards and deprived of food, access to toilet, medical or legal aid, we are sharing with you a Humanity in Action Poland knowledge board on Refugees.
From civil society organizations providing housing and free legal aid to refugees – Association for Legal Intervention (Stowarzyszenie Interwencji Prawnej) and Ocalenie Foundation (Fundacja Ocalenie) to name a couple – to good practices of entrepreneurship – Kuchnia Konfliktu and GośćInność run by HIA Senior Fellows – the board is full of useful tips and resources.
Use it for education, inspiration to take informed action and share it with others!
The board was created by the Fellows of the 2020 Warsaw program: Lamisa Mustafa, Melani Cruz Stokes, Nathan Shearn and Wiktor Magdziarz.
