For two years Jews in the Netherlands gathered to speak about their experiences, traumas, dreams, and desires. This manifesto was born from those conversations. Of course, it doesn’t represent all Jews in the Netherlands. But what could?
Democracy Senior Fellows Jelle Zjilstra and Lievnath Faber have been working on the Jewish Manifesto for the past 3 years. In November 2024, the project is finally released!

Jelle and Lievnath are Senior Democracy Fellows. This fellowship, a collaboration between the Alfred Landecker Foundation and Humanity in Action, was created to strengthen a new generation of leaders whose approaches to political and social challenges can become catalysts for democratic placemaking and community building.
