Solidarity with refugees - Against pushbacks and E.U. criminal migration policy

Article

On June 14, 2023, the largest shipwreck of the last decades took place in the Mediterranean Sea, with 78 dead, 568 missing and only 104 survivors. “The boat, with more than 750 refugees on board, has been located and supervised by Frontex, the Greek and Italian Coastguard 24 hours prior to it’ s capsize. No intervention was made, against all international guidelines and the law of the sea,” inform the “Aus der Nacht heraus” film festival organizers.

To discuss the obvious human rights violations, on June 23, 2023, at 7:30pm, Senior Landecker Fellow Iason Apostolopoulos is speaking at the “Aus der Nacht heraus 5″ film festival in Berlin for an evening dedicated to solidarity with refugees and against pushbacks and E.U. criminal migration policy.
