As part of her Landecker Democracy Action Project, Sebene has created “Our Stories” – a web platform with audiovisual material complemented by contributions from migrant communities.
In late November 2022, Our Stories participated in the Balkan Can Kino Film Symposium in Athens. Focusing on the themes of decolonization, the festival raised questions about our own identity and position to decolonization.
Our Stories participated in the festival for three days through an audio installation. More specifically, Our Stories’ program focused on migration to Greece in the 1970s and 1980s.
