Senior Landecker Fellow Marta Rozmysłowicz was interviewed by the Spider’s Web magazine.
The article, originally published in Polish, focuses on the “madness of Black Friday shopping,” which is described rather as a “nightmare period of superhumanly hard physical work.”
“Technologies measure, control and enable squeezing more and more from employees,” Marta explains, noting that such technologies should also be used to take care of workers’ safety. In other words, Marta believes it is time also for employees to finally benefit from technological progress.
