Over the last month, Senior Landecker Fellow Tomasz Cebulski organized a fundraising campaign for generators for Ukraine and developed logistics channels so that they get to places where they are needed the most to serve humanitarian needs.
Tomasz organized and lead two deliveries of 21 power generators to Lviv for further distribution to the east of south of the country.
In this Facebook report, Tomasz describes his experience of crossing borders, fundraising, delivering the generators, or meeting with medics.
Notably, Tomasz managed to have raised money for 21 power generators. Five of those were bought thanks to the HIA Ukrainian Refugees Fund. “Now those provide heat and electricity for those who work at frontlines defending the values we believe and the world we live in,” Tomasz adds.
“Time to act is now,” reminds us Tomasz, working tirelessly to protect the fundamental rights and values which we take for granted.
