Senior Fellow Marietje Schaake was interviewed by De Groene Amsterdammer on how tech-companies have downplayed their power for years. Since 2019, she has been living in Silicon Valley as policy director of the Cyber Policy Center of the University of Stanford. According to Marietje, corona conspiracy theories and the Capitol storming on January 6th, 2021 painfully exposed that what is said online can disrupt democracy.
