Article

Anna Gundorph is a Danish student and co-founder with a passion for finding pragmatic solutions to wicked problems. Before she began studying environmental economics she co-founded the danish food-tech start-up FÆRM, which she co-ran for 3 years before stepping out to pursue her education and passion for working within the public sector.

Since then Anna has worked with the University of Copenhagen to find ways to reduce the environmental impact of its canteens, collaborating with both decision-makers, students, canteen vendors and researchers. Recently Anna co-authored a research paper which draws on some of her work and was published in Social Sciences and Humanities open. Her work with UCPH’s canteens has sparked her interest in using public procurement as a tool in combatting both climate change and boosting global and local welfare, which led to her job in the City of Copenhagen’s office for sustainable procurement.
