Christos Iliadis holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Discourse Analysis from the Department of Government at the University of Essex. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Panteion University (Athens) and his Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Athens. Christos Iliadis has been a board member of the Hellenic League of Human Rights since 2013 and is working as a trainer-facilitator for the Council of Europe in Romed2, a project targeting Roma integration. Until April 2015 he was a post- doctoral researcher at Panteion, while during the last years he has taught International Relations at Essex (2009-2011) and worked in projects related to the training of the police and public officials in Greece on issues of integration of third countries’ nationals. His published work and his PhD thesis focus on the history of Greek minority policies in Western Thrace.
