Giselle Schellekens (senior fellow Amsterdam 2013) is currently director of Netherlands’ largest anti-discrimination organisation: RADAR. Where they retrieve complaints of discrimination, support further legal proceedings and do research on discrimination on national level.
Prior to this job, Giselle has been working within development aid. Focussing on supporting youth employment in post-conflict states, such as the countries surrounding Syria and in multiple sub-Saharan African countries (Rwanda and Burundi).
Giselle studied psychology in The Netherlands and grew up in Botswana, Nicaragua, Burkina Faso and Kenya.
