Heather Storgaard

Heather Storgaard is a Scottish-Danish writer and researcher. Her work focuses on rural issues, including themes such as food and drink, culture, depopulation, heritage and agriculture. Since completing her master’s in Island Studies, Heather has partaken in a Culture Moves Europe creative residency in the Westfjords of Iceland, completed an International Journalism Programme fellowship in Germany, been selected to curate an exhibition in Scotland’s Architecture Fringe and named as one of Harper’s Wine & Spirits ‘30 under 30’ people to watch in the drinks sector. She is passionate about new ways to create meaningful futures in the countryside, drawing on both her educational background in Culture & Heritage as well as broad international experiences.
