Homan Filioskoei has from an early age developed a strong interest in political debate and social justice — an interest that continues to shape his academic and professional path. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Political Administration at Roskilde University. Homan is driven by a deep curiosity about what academia can offer, paired with a clear awareness of the need for real-world impact. He is passionate about bridging the gap between theory and practice — an ambition reflected in his work with the Danish-Arab Partnership Programme (DAPP), where he collaborates with a consortium of NGOs to promote human rights and improve employment opportunities for youth in the MENA region. Across his engagements, Homan seeks to challenge and expand the Danish perspective on power by shedding light on the historical, cultural, and systemic forces behind global inequality. Whether through public debate forums, political activism, or exploring the power of film, he remains committed to questioning entrenched systems and fostering dialogue that continuously confronts dominant assumptions and structures.
