Kim Schuiten grew up in Dordrecht but prefers to tell you she grew up “near Rotterdam.” After high school she moved to Amsterdam to study Political Science. During her studies, she became interested in grassroots changes towards a more inclusive society. She wrote her master’s thesis on implicit bias towards female leadership and continues to work within these subjects during her work with Framer Framed, a platform and exhibition space for art and culture with a focus on diversity and inclusion. Kim holds high hopes of bringing powerful changes to society, but sometimes becomes frustrated when this does not happen overnight. In her free time, Kim cooks and reads to take her mind off this.
