Mikaela v. Freiesleben, Ph.D., is the Humanity in Action Denmark’s National Director and has a Master’s Degree in the Sociology of Religion and Minority Studies from the University of Copenhagen. Her Ph.D., from the Centre for Advanced Migration Studies, University of Copenhagen, analyses discourses of “parallel societies”, “ghettoisation” and “social cohesion” in past and present Danish political debate.
