About the Fellowship
The NAACP-Humanity in Action Fellowship provides one Senior Fellow the opportunity to work with the the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. This fully-funded, salaried Fellowship gave a single Senior Fellow the opportunity to work alongside the leadership of the NAACP, conducting substantial research and taking part in meaningful policy advocacy in accordance with the shared mission of the NAACP and Humanity in Action. The selected Senior Fellow worked for ten months in the office of President Cornell Brooks at the NAACP’s headquarters in Baltimore. The NAACP tailored the work portfolio to the skills and expertise of the selected Senior Fellow.
