The Jewish Manifesto

Authors: Jelle Zijlstra, The Netherlands, 2022

Landecker Democracy Fellow Jelle's project aims to increase knowledge about Antisemitism and why and how it differs from other forms of racism and discrimination particularly in the Netherlands, through online content and educational sessions.

Oy Vey Acts

Authors: Lievnath Faber, The Netherlands, 2021

Landecker Democracy Fellow Lievnath Faber works on co-creating a Jewish hub, Oy Vey, in the city center of Amsterdam, right in the middle of the former Jewish quarter. Lievnath’s idea is to create a lasting connection between the Jewish activists and the broader activist community in The Netherlands, specifically in Amsterdam. This will create a civic revolution against populist, nationalist, and racist forces in our society who benefit from the current antagonism between these communities.

Against Urban Antisemitism: Restoring the Local Jewish Presence

Against Urban Antisemitism

Authors: Jan Kirschenbaum, Poland, 2016

Senior Fellow Jan Kirschenbaum aspires to combat nationalist prejudice and Antisemitism in Poland by stressing and making public the contributions of the Jewish community to the past and present of the country through his Action Project "Against Urban Antisemitism: Restoring the Local Jewish Presence".
