Article

Part II of “Women* in Action” board highlights systemic and domestic violence in Poland and organizations that offer psychological support and legal aid. Feel free to use and share this resource.

Yulia Rudenko, 2020 Warsaw Fellow from Ukraine: „Polish women have always been hopeful. Now, they have proved to be fearless. Out on the streets in the midst of the pandemic, getting tear-gassed by police, women are defending their reproductive rights and protesting against lack of funding for women’s rights organizations. Polish women stand strong and united – I find this incredibly inspirational!”

The board is illustrated by artist Magda rysuje authored by Natalia Styrnol, Yulia Rudenko, Nitzan Menagem and Weronika Szwajda, Fellows of our 2020 Warsaw Fellowship/Academy of Human Rights.
