Senior Landecker Fellow Laura Westring was selected as a new speechwriter for Humza Yousaf, First Minister of Scotland.
“Working for Yousaf will not be Westring’s first foray into politics, having worked with MSPs at Holyrood,” informed readers Kieran Andrews in an article in The Times.
Furthermore, already in 2014, Laura was Barack Obama’s warm-up act for a keynote address in Brussels. Since moving back to the UK, Laura has been providing training to businesses and politicians alike on “effective and ethical speechwriting and leadership communication,” and even published her own children’s book, Slug In A Mug.
