Senior Fellow Owusu Akoto was recently featured in The New York Times for his contribution in delivering and distributing the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine in Ghana. Owusu’s company, FreezeLink, helped the Ghanaian government keep 600,000 doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine at proper temperature before distribution. Owusu was initially inspired to create FreezeLink to combat food waste in West Africa.
