Eva Maria Lassen

Eva Maria Lassen holds a Ph.D. in History and is a senior researcher at the Danish Institute for Human Rights in Copenhagen. She is currently member of the Board of Administrators of the European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratisation (EIUC), Venice, and EMA director (for Denmark) in the European Master’s Programme in Human Rights and Democratisation (EMA). Her research interests include freedom of religion or belief in Europe, the history of human rights, and the balance between human rights and religious traditions. Eva Maria served as a board member of Humanity in Action Denmark for almost a decade, many of these years as vice-chair. Updatet September 2022.
