On July 7th, Landecker Fellow Erica Dorn appeared on an episode of the podcast Diseño y Democracia, a podcast about design and democracy. The podcast mainly interviews people who are involved in social innovation and emerging design practices. The host, Mariana Salgado, is based in Helsinki, but produces the podcast in Spanish and Portuguese. In this episode, Erica discusses social choreographies in the United States. She talks about her project, Mobilidades Civicos, in Aurora, a diverse suburb in Colorado with many refugees and immigrants.

Erica is one of thirty Landecker Democracy Fellows. This fellowship, a collaboration between the Alfred Landecker Foundation and Humanity in Action, was created to strengthen a new generation of leaders whose approaches to political and social challenges can become catalysts for democratic placemaking and community building.
