Landecker Democracy Fellow Nikos Vrantsis contributed to the book Enlightenment and Ecology with his short piece titled “Can cyborgs dream of social ecology?” This anthology is a homage to the legacy of Murray Bookchin and Social Ecology, published by BlackRose Publications. It celebrates the 100th anniversary of the birth of Bookchin. Nikos’ piece sketches how cyborg theory transforms politico-judicial epistemologies. He draws from the legacy of Murray Bookchin to discuss how social ecology may provide a framework for community shared scientific and technological resources.
