Magdalena was a legal expert in the Polish Ombudsman Office, the Constitutional, International and European Law Department, dealing with cases on freedom of expression, freedom of assembly, rule of law, and independence of the judiciary. She was also  a researcher at Jagiellonian University in the project POPREBEL – Populist rebellion against modernity in 21st century Eastern Europe: neo-traditionalism and neo-feudalism. Currently she works at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in the field of disinformation and Russian propaganda.

She is a Ph.D. candidate in the Polish Academy of Science. Her thesis is on the legal solutions for disinformation. She is a Central European University’s graduate (LL.M. in Human Rights). She holds a double Master’s in Law and Journalism from Warsaw University. Magdalena is passionate about human rights, civil society, and democracy and hopes to someday be able to participate in rebuilding constitutional legal order and the rule of law in Poland.
