He is an experienced genealogist and licensed tour leader in Poland and Central Europe. His project is a “Teen Flying University” ( or "Latający Uniwersytet Młodzieży" in Polish) and it will teach local history to help build a global future.

Landecker Democracy Fellow Sharon M. Chin is the Executive Director and Founder of Creative Sanctum. A digital magazine focused on amplifying the behind-the-scenes creative processes of artists, Creative Sanctum also empowers artists as activists. Sharon seeks to implement community-driven commissioned artwork to mobilize community voices in protecting democracy.

Landecker Democracy Fellow Reshma Persaud is a Manager of Principal Giving at the International Rescue Committee. In support of activism through art, Reshma and SQWM will host an exhibition highlighting immigrant communities, families, or/and anonymous GBV survivors for them to "Tell their Stories Through Art" either virtually or in-person.

Landecker Democracy Fellow Nikos Vrantsis is currently an Assistant Researcher of Social Sustainability of Alternative Housing Models at the Institute of Urban Research in Uppsala. This project focuses on the mapping and identification of housing potential in rural areas, with a particular focus on inactive housing stock and abandoned resources.

In order to take on a problem, you first need to understand it - especially if it as complex as Female Genital Mutilation. Senior Fellow Mara Franke worked on educating medical professionals about FGM through a lecture series.
