Senior Landecker Fellow Mamobo Ogoro’s Gorm (formerly known as Gorm Media) has launched “The Wideshot” – a new program training young people from migrant and ethnically diverse backgrounds in various aspects of media, including storytelling and content production.
The Wideshot, supported by the YPCE Project Award 2023, is a series of workshops and events for young people aged 18-25 in Ireland.
“This new program aims to connect young people and recent graduates interested in creative media with established Film & TV practitioners and creative media professionals in Ireland,” the official program page explains.

Mamobo is one of thirty 2021-2022 Landecker Democracy Fellows. This fellowship, a collaboration between the Alfred Landecker Foundation and Humanity in Action, was created to strengthen a new generation of leaders whose approaches to political and social challenges can become catalysts for democratic placemaking and community building.
